No, the post title isn't a reference to the now departed Hobbit formerly known as Charlie Pace. Instead, It concerns what is a huge continuity error that I'm really surprised didn't get picked up on. At the beginning of last Wednesday's season finale, Jack gathered most of the survivors together to go on a long trek up to the radio tower. Before we cut to commercial, we see a beautiful shot of them heading down the beach at sunset with the ocean on their right (

Then we come back from commercial and the ocean has magically switched to their left:
Either they started out walking until Rousseau smacked her palm against her forehead and proclaimed "Doh! Wrong way!", or the island's geography is way weirder than we've imagined.
