So, out of the Top 100 Overlooked Films of the 1990s (according to the Online Film Critics Society), I have seen 49 of them. Still a pretty good record, but it looks like I need to add a lot more to my Blockbuster account queue.
The Hudsucker Proxy at #7 baffles me. I love the Coen Brothers and I get that they were trying to do an homage to Capra films and the like... But wow is that movie way, way off the mark. But then again, arguments from dudes like me are why these movie lists are made, I guess.
Out Of Sight left off another '90s list, while The Limey makes it. Sigh.
Well, I worship at the feet of Hudsucker Proxy, so we'll definitely have to agree to disagree on that one. :)
As for The Limey, I would imagine they consider it a far more obscure title than Out of Sight (compare the teams of Clooney/Lopez to Stamp/Warren) and thus is on the list for that reason. I'd say Out of Sight is more watchable and entertaining, but The Limey will always have a place in my heart for one of the best movie monologues I've ever heard.

I'm only at 24, so don't feel bad at all.
