Can you hear me now? I'm guessing not.

Back in August, I wrote a post concerning the dueling versions of the Exorcist prequel and their tangled history. Well, according to ComingSoon.net, the Paul Schrader version is finally going to get released in theaters to give some audiences a chance to see if it is indeed an improvement on Renny Harlin's version.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that the release date is a day after this.

Kind of like being allowed to make a speech from the upper stands of the Super Bowl in the middle of the second quarter. Without a microphone. While sealed in an telephone booth.
